Reasons why I like these AMUSE actors (Part 1)
1. Takahiko Yanagisawa
Taka, as he is fondly called by his comrades, is like a big brother figure of the group. He seems to me a person who likes to make a fool of himself without losing the ability to be cool. It’s as if his exterior is like the the dorkiest, but he is serious inside. He is also like a great hard worker.
Talent-wise, he has a triple-threat effect. He dances well (Frogs, Tenimyu, Black&White stage plays, etc.). He is not the handsome type you would easily notice, but the reason why I noticed him immediately is that he makes a really good supporting actor (aside from his personality of course).
2. Atsushi Hashimoto
Atsushi has a really sexy voice. I mean, God. Anyway, the first time I noticed him was when he played the very cheerful Taro sempai in the Amuse produced drama “SIGN”. Taro sempai has this really cheerful, positive vibe that even though he has issues as a person, he can still show a really bright smile. That is the main fact I cried buckets when Taro sempai died…:( I would love to have a friend like that too, or maybe a boyfriend – you know, in this really dark, problem-filled world, one needs a person who is a bucket-full of sunshine.
Anyway, aside from that role, I googled his name and I found out he used to be a tokusatsu actor (Magiranger – Red, incidentally, the lead). And he has stage play roles too. I wonder if he can also dance and sing like some others (because, technically, I haven’t seen him done so in AMUSE produced shows). And right now, he has seemingly mellowed, but anyway, he’ll still be one of my favourites because of Taro sempai.
3. Takuya Uehara
Takkun – how should I start? Okay, let’s begin with my first impression – he looks kind of weird. And then comes the second glance. Oh, he can FREAKING ACT AND DANCE, OH MY GOD!!??!! Look at how Black&White changed my view.
Yep, I only took notice of him because of Black&White. He was literally awesome and beautiful there! I can’t even write it in words &%@^@#*… So, I started following him, and oh how glad I was. The moment you see him do every single role, all with different characters, and he does them all with greatness, that is pure awesomeness for you! Plus, I can also say, his voice is so unique and he sings well. His dance skills are above ordinary and really good. Personality-wise, I think he is a quiet person, with so much coolness in him he expresses them in his work. He also seems amiable as he can be in really good terms with everyone he works with. I want to meet him, my God!
4. Kento Kaku
Kakkun has a strong personality. He does what he likes to do. He has witty remarks on stage as well. He used to say he is a shy person but I think experience already made him fond of exposure. Plus, he has a really beautiful face that even though he makes those, uhm, poses, he can still stand out and be the favourite. Fans love his weirdness and uniqueness.
Kakkun is considered to be a promising actor. He has proven his worth acting out a high school delinquent, comedian, and a villain. I can’t wait to see more of him doing roles which can further showcase his acting chops. I haven’t seen him do his stage plays, but judging from the fact that after one musical comes another for him, one can probably say he can sing really well. Of course, he can still improve his dance skills, but who needs dancing skills if one has the appeal, acting talent, and the singing voice to top it all.
